The Birth of Athlete Unbothered

For as long as I can remember, I struggled with self-efficacy, overthinking, (competitive) anxiety, fearful of making mistakes, what people will think of me, and not necessarily scared of failure but more so scared of success. Would I be able to handle it, it pressure, expectations, etc.

I never knew what it was, just thought it was about of the game...until I stumbled across Sport Psychology and realized that people can really get help for this, and suddenly wished I knew about this when I was an athlete, I can just imagine how much further I could've gone.

Athlete Unbothered was developed to be the person I needed, to help athletes overcome the struggles that they carry around with them in their heads that preventing them from reaching their full potential. We all need support, we have and use support in every area of our game except when it comes to the mind.

My goal is to approach mental skills training in a way that people, especially people of color begin to appreciate and use mental health without the negative connotation it may have, and to help athletes understand that these skills are transferable, you need them in your sport and in life.
